Coming from one of the "others," I have NO intention of revealing and "dirt" I may have heard, and even if I knew it as fact, would not do so. I was just saying that folks are going to say a lot of things that will be untrue.

Sis. Barb,

I totally agree with you. My comments were to Thad...I do not want to know the dirt...I have enough dirt that God has had to clean up in my life.

Have a blessed day my friend, Rhonda

No...your comment came right behind my post to him and you said "and others."

I was just assuring you that there is no "dirt" here to share...

Be that as it may, I drew my conclusion from what I read...no "he sais/she said" to it...was just setting the record straight.

Thank you for your well wishes from the previous post and you have a good day as well.

You do not have the money or resources to put your church on TV on a regular basis.
"Christian" TV is VERY expensive and does not pay off for the pastor if he does not have GREAT PRODUCT to push.
There is way too much competition and you are NOT up to it!
If you are not a smart salesman - stay off.
If you go on TV - You WILL change your message.
If you go on TV - You WILL change the way you look.

Taping for TV changes the dynamics of a service. Hook up a video camera and start taping every Sunday morning and put it up on your screen - I can promise you it will change things.
AB--
I only agree with this if you go on TV with insecurities. We had a TV program for three years that reached several states around here. Eddie is just who he is, no matter what. He's very transparent and real. The TV show did not change him in the least, nor what he preached. The people who have come because of the TV show in the past few years have said that they came because he's the only TV preacher they know who is "real".

The ONLY thing that he changed was that he no longer uses a pulpit, because he felt like it was a barrier psychologically between him and the people and he is very relational in preaching. Now that we are off TV, he still won't use a pulpit because he likes being "with" the people without something between him and them.

Is there any other biblical grounds for divorce besides infidelity? I don't know of any.
