She was suppose to do TBN Tuesday, August 28th.
She ask to still do the show, but TBN cancelled the show, the media would be crazy and the studio wouldn't hold the crowd.
Personally, I think she should just relax and get better and stay away from media. I am surprised she would want to still do the show.

In fact we really are quite far from the original church ideal where they sold their goods as a church to provide for others.

In fact, when I read all the bible says about the rich, I find it hard to believe that anyone thinks it's ok for a "minister" to get rich off of the sheep and live a life that is separated from the very people they were supposed to be ministering to, in mansions and driven around in a limo....sorry but that is just the way my thinking is from what I read in the word. Of course "rich" is a subjective term. And the issue is not necessarily even having riches, but what is done with them and how one lives on them.

So yeah...it's not wrong to be rich, but considering what the NT has to say about ministers and riches I find it hard to believe this is how a minister should be in God's eyes. Second, from what the bible says, though God may give someone the ability to gain riches is the child of God to do with those riches as he pleases or as God pleases?

IN the OT they were told that God gave them riches to establish HIS kingdom, not theirs. It's my view that we have allowed the world to creep into the church and dictate to the church many values rather than the word.

The world has idols and the church has idols. The world has celebrities and the church has celebrities. The world seeks to gain riches off of others and the church does too.

That's how I look at it.

I took the liberty of deleting all the scripture you posted, but don't think I did it because I don't agree with the scripture. I am just saving some space.

With that said, I understand your argument. You are correct in saying it is not right for a pastor to get rich off the backs of the people he pastors, with some exceptions. One would be if the pastor is pastoring a wealthy church, then I see no reason why he should not be wealthy as well. Another would be if the pastor's ministry goes beyond that of his local assembly, such as being an author or if he builds a nationwide ministry that requires him to travel a lot.

What I am getting at is that each minister, and the amount of money he profits from ministry, needs to be judged on its own merits. I don't think we should completely write off rich pastors as being greedy or money hungry. Nor do I think we should completely condone their prosperity.

If Juanita is bruised - Can you imagine what the Reverend Doctor Thomas Wesley Weeks III looks like??????? I bet he has scratches and bruises all over. I think all he did was to defend himself against a CRAZY MEAN WOMAN!!!

Now the question I want to ask is - Where was their security? I have never seen either of them without security! I do not believe ONE WORD of what she says - it is all in preparation for a BOOK or a Conference that she will put on with ABUSED WOMEN as the theme.
1. First report says it happened at 5 AM
2. Second report says 4 AM
3. New report now says 10:30 PM
4. They cannot find "John" the bellman that "pulled him off her."
5. No pictures or video of it in the parking lot of the hotel.
6. She goes to hospital and then leaves for an undisclosed location.
7. Her "sister" leaks three pictures to the press.
8. She says he said he is gonna "kill" her.
9. She does not report this at the hotel or the hospital.
10. No witnesses - RIGHT! How convenient! Who in their right mind believes this? He knows she is his gravy train - his Sugar Mamma - he wants to keep her - she is finished with him - she has to have some kind of way to get out and look like the victim.
I suspect that SHE will pay him handsomely and he will back down - take the money and get outta town. He is finished here. I went by their church a few Sundays ago - 8 cars in the parking lot and ALL were from other states - NY, NJ, CT, RI, MI - NONE FROM GEORGIA!
It is all sad - There are TWO sides to every argument!
I have never met one pastor ANYWHERE that had anything good to say about her. I had a Bishop call me today and said - She was the most difficult guest I have ever had in 35 years of pastoring and I would NEVER have her again. She is MEAN!!!!!!!!!!!

I do know Jentezen Franklin had her ONCE and she told HIM what to do (nobody tells JF what to do) and she has never been back! She was an hour late and he was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! She told him that he better NOT move in that new sanctuary without HER leading the march - LOL - HE did NOT invite her back.

I have sympathy for her if her story is the accual case. Though, as you said every story has two sides. I am sure that if she defended herself that he would have a rather large gash on his left cheek from her "rather large right hand ring." I have seen her on tv enough times to form the opinion that she seems like a hand full. Usually people that are a handful are that way for a reason. Making up for something somewhere or just plain mean. As you say she is probably just on the mean side.

I can not hardly believe that she was that way to JF. Though I am sure that she doesn't care. JF seems like a even mannered man. Though he is a country boy at heart and us country boys can be pushed so far the come out fighting like Ali.

I am saying she deserved it cause he may be the problem, but it is hard to believe he could lay a hand on her that way without her help there. As you said Bishop, where were they?

I do not condone any man hitting a woman. If he hit her - that is sad - however - it is not proven fact - it is what "The Prophetess" and her sister said.
There is no excuse for her doing what she did and no excuse for him hitting her - if he did. Personally - I don't believe one word she says.
