Ferd, I got a challenge for you.... dress up in a trench-coat, grab a life-like air gun and go stand out in your lawn after dark for awhile, long enough for someone to drive by and see you....
report back to us whether the cops come out.... and whether being on "your property" stopped them from questioning you any....
Yes, please share with us your experience with Pr-24.
So, you think it was wrong for them to "explain that juveniles carrying guns, dressed in dark clothing during the middle of the night may alarm anyone who sees them and might result in a tragedy if confronted by police who believe the guns to be real"?
I think it is proper for the police to investagate, and upon discovery of the legality of the action, to both explain that there is some potential for misunderstanding, and also to insure that all police in town, understand that these kids are playing on this private property thus preventing any potential for tragedy.

They've already demonstrated that they feel they can ask you to cease from your own personal activities on your own personal property.
which reminds me.... guess what Malvaro gave as a suggestion for a youth fund-raiser not even two weeks ago???

Malvaro, no one is questioning the action of the police to question. that was well within their responsibility.
it was when the police requested they no longer play on their own private property in AMERICA that the action becomes questionable.

For their kids' own safety the police advised them to no longer engage in the activity (at least not in the middle of the night).
for the kids own safty....FROM THE POLICE... because the police didnt want to shoot them? get real. the police now know the kids are there, why would the police then put them in a situation to take a shot at a kid, they know will be there doing what they know the kid will be doing?
