My husband is famous for telling stuff. His theory is - tell your side of the story before the rumors get started. One night we were in conversation with another couple and he announced that the average woman in America wore a size 14 and his wife wore a size 12- I could not believe he said that!!!!
Stoneking has made the statement about our skin pigment, which is true. It's not a big deal Hot Coffee Ms.
Oh don't worry Sister, I'm not. I Have two Sister in Laws who are beauticians, I know a little about skin pigmintation and hair coloring and such. Brother Stoneking doesn't have the patent on that knowledge. This thread came to mind a day or two ago when I came on and saw a new photo of a sister and it was obvious she had over processed with the wrong color, it was obveously to dark for her complexion.
Blessings,
I've never understood why some people make it their business to care what people do with their hair. I was at church camp the other night while a woman kept pointing out to me every 5 min who has dyed hair and who doesn't... I listened for a while and almost said "if their hair bothers you, why don't you go color your own". She is greying now that she is pushing 50 and I know she is taking it hard... however, I wish she would leave everyone else alone.
I get sick of people pointing out a liberty that someone might take (such as coloring hair) and gripe about it when they really would like the liberty to do the same.
As for my own hair... now that I am 40, I broke down and did a box thingy at Walmart... I am greying slightly at the temples... I went a shade lighter than my natural color... no one even noticed.... *sigh* I even asked people if they saw anything different... no one noticed.. everyone said it looked like my natural color.. So, so much for hair color not looking natural!!!
HEY! A thread just for HeavenlyOne! I am on the phone with her right now and just had to tell her that there was a thread just for her! She can really learn some things from this thread.
HeavenlyOne! Git yerself over here already! Oops, I'm sorry, I forgot you can't move very fast...just do the best you can honey...
Let's remember who will see 50 WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before I will!!!!
Oh, you might not remember....the Old Timers and all........

Gray hair isn't specifically "age" related anyway. Its inherited just like thinning hair or baldness. It can and does happen to many even in their 20's.
The voice of experience in the GRAY hair category.........

I must rebuke you for relaying the kind of behaviour in this woman that I am assured does not exist in old time Pentecost.
How dare you suggest OTP women spend precious time judging others and checking out how they measure up to the legalism!
My wife's hair is starting to gray I think it's cute and rather attractive.
