Yeahhhhh, no.
Whatsoever you have done onto the least of these, you've done unto Jesus Himself.

But of course, if I preached against various articles of clothing, you'd give me a standing ovation and a hearty Amen. But if I tell you what Jesus clearly implies... and you reject it.

Why don't you just write down all the standards and traditions into a single book, ditch the Bible, and preach from your more abbreviated dress manual?

That way you don't have to be troubled by the deeper teachings of Jesus.

The truth is, God grades us with regards to how we treat others. Whatsoever we have done unto the least of men, we've done unto Him.

Think about it, Israel ditched the tithes, which fed the Levites and the poor. And for that, God said that they robbed... Him. God doesn't need money. All things are already His own. They robbed God by robbing those that were in need of their support.

Whenever a churched rejected Michael, or any other saint of God, over a beard... they rejected Jesus over a beard.

I think we should underscore that it's both.

Nope, because that's not true. There is no verse claiming that only bearded people go to Heaven. Let's not create a false dichotomy. It matters not if one has a beard or not.

But those who teach for doctrine the commandments of men... they are an entirely different story.

It's in the apocrypha, right after the one that says you can pay for your salvation, and in between the one that endorses indulgences. Lol

Why do you insist on butchering Bible verses to twist them to fit the narrative you're trying to give?

Actually the priests robbed God.

No, it's not. They don't even have the same definition. One means straight, as opposed to crooked; the other means "place of limited spatial capacity; narrow or cramped" and "used in reference to a situation characterized by a specified degree of trouble or difficulty."

Reminds me of Matthew 19:16-21 "And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? [17] And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is , God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. [18] He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, [19] Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [20] The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? [21] JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, IF THOU WILT BE PERFECT, GO AND SELL THAT THOU HAST, AND GIVE TO THE POOR, AND THOU SHALT HAVE TREASURE IN HEAVEN: AND COME AND FOLLOW ME."

My question is what scripture did Jesus have to command this guy to do that?

He seen something in him that commanded this of him "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." And we see clearly where his heart was, from verse 22 "But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions."
Now, if you will stay away from the church of the living God for something trivial as facial hair, what are your actions telling Jesus about your love for Him and His word? It's not about what somebody else does, but how bout you? When you stand face to face to God, Hes not going to take any excuses, or is He going to allow you to blame anyone else. But He's going to judge you off your actions to obey Him. Hey at least you weren't told to sell everything!

It was just an attempt at humor. It's a "straight" way as well as a "strait" way. Oh, never mind. lol
