It is like the guy who walks out on stage and asks if there is really a God then that God should prove Himself by striking him with lightning. Yet, no lightning, therefore the atheist walks off smug that he has won.

Yet, he lost, because it would be too easy to remove the blindness of someone so foolish to think God is mocked. What we plant we will harvest.

Is this country any different? Is this people any different then any other people? This country has dodge many a bullet, and does she return like the 10th leper? No, she walks to the priests to get confirmation that she is alright.

How long can that go on?

I personally, don't think for too much longer.

Sooner or later you have to pay the fiddler.

Just a side note. You cite just one of thousands of verses depicting God's true estimation of the Jews. Yet, "post-70 AD", we are supposed to view them as poor victims for being driven out of country after country. Perhaps those host nations found out what God knew all along and couldn't take it any more.

Although, I don't think it will be a "war". I think Putin and Trump are drawing up the boundaries of the surgical strikes and raids right now. I wouldn't be surprised if it is all entirely choreographed to take the heat off the investigation.

I think the investigation is the heat to force Trump into a war he does not want.

And sadly... Syrians, Russians, and yes, American troops, are going to lose their lives as though they are meaningless pawns in this global game of Monopoly.

I know we tend to blame unbelievers, liberals, etc. on the state of our nation. But what if the real problem is that the church has failed to be the salt of the earth?

Don't write the thought off so quickly. Judgment must first start at the house of God.

If our nation is going under... we should realistically stop and consider the very real possibility that we failed. And if we have... correcting what we're doing wrong becomes paramount if we even want to consider trying saving this nation in the hopes that it is not too late.
