That depends on whether you view disobedience to the word "sin"

  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Jesus also did not fault those eating food offered to idols for putting a stumbling block before Jews
Then perhaps they should preach standards so women will start dressing that way today. According to today's standards of dress in the church, our women are half naked!

Re: Is There A Difference In?

I remember to this day the first time I saw a woman in a bikini swim suit and I was probably 10 years old. Messed me up BIG time.

You asked about whether something is a sin or is it specifically called a sin.

The bible says to dress modestly. See the point now regarding OBEDIENCE?

Depends on what physique she was wearing as well, eh?

Some things should automatically be sin, like a man or woman wearing something meant to be worn on someone about a third their size.

And we have come full circle. What is 'dressing modestly', and who's definition do we follow?

And you made the statement that nakedness brought shame, which is why I mentioned a woman praying uncovered.
