~Understand that you will never be an Apostle of Christ, and that "Apostolic" is generally a subjective definition; it is an attempt to follow Christ using the set of actions related in the NT to the Apostles. Examples might include Joan of Arc, Luther, MLK, and other martyrs. If you are truly an Apostolic, expect to die an unpleasant, or at least untimely death, at the hands of those you have inflamed with the truth.
~Apostolics do not attend 'church.' An Apostolic might lead a service, but has no need to go to a building and listen to someone feed babies milk. Expect a service led by an Apostolic to make you uncomfortable, and quite possibly upset; although services given for accolades are not unheard of.
~More coming...

ok, so we are using different definitions and frames of reference. But, at least you are giving thought to the issue. As for me, I have begin a dialogue with the owner of my local quick stop, where I buy my coffee each morning. A very nice fellow as it turns out. We have had some interesting exchanges.

Um, actually, having some difficulty deciding on a definition? I guess my previous examples might be better termed zealots, or martyrs; but those are part of a literal def of Apostle...so, any def's appreciated.
"One who attempts, as best they are able, to adhere to the doctrine of the Apostles" maybe?

Well, I see problems with it, but I like it also...just so you are aware, this is a paraphrased quote from Hitler; I mention this to highlight the "as best they are able" problem.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" ( 1Tim 3:16)
3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
Do you believe in the above statements? Yes or No?

I don't consider myself an Apostolic, and I don't even like to call myself a Christian, but I was here looking for information about Cindy Nash, and so I thought I'd come in and join the party for a few minutes.
1. Yes, but like ApostolicKitty said, I don't limit it to just three revelations.
2. Yes, Jesus is God.
3. Ehhh...I have issues with this statement. I don't think God's love or gifts are necessarily contingent on our acceptance of them.
4. Personally, I don't think that baptismal mode or formula is of any importance.
5. a.) actually yes. b.) Hung jury...not enough evidence to convict.
6. Big no. I don't think it's about behavior, I think it's about intimacy and relationship.
and a special #7 just for me...I don't think the Bible is the Inerrant Authoritative WORD OF GOD either. (So you can put the rest of my views in the proper perspective )

1. Yes, there is one God.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. Well, a valid mode, but not the only one.
5. Yes.
6. Yes.
What does this make me?

Re: Are you an Apostolic?
The question shouldn't be 'Are you Apostolic?".
It should be. . . . . .
"Arrrrrrreee Youuuuuuuuu . . . . . . . . . Apostolic. . . . .?"

Farfel, which looks a lot like falafel, so the jury is still out.
