No, I don't disagree.

I don't recall anyone saying, literally, "children of the devil are those that don't obey acts 2:38". I didn't say they did. I thought you folks believed that those who have not obeyed Acts 2:38 are unsaved, and you said the unsaved are children of the devil. Exactly where is my error, in making the connection? Seems like a valid syllogism, to me.

I am not talking about feelings. I want to know what you believe.

ALL who have not obeyed Acts 2:38 that have the mental capasity to do so are unsaved thus children of the devil. A man MUST be born again for God to be his Father.

I believe the scriptures are our only rule of faith.

I believe God will come in flaming fire taking vengeance on those that known not God and obey not the gospel.

2Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
2Th 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2Th 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Now, can you tell me how to avoid this vengeance? Yes, obey the gospel, as you say. How do I do that?

(I thought I knew, but I'm not sure now. Just want you to spell it out for me, please.)

That's what I thought, but have you read the discussion?

And yes, in a way it was a loaded question. I posed it because something Elder Epley said in another thread got me confused about what Apostolics believe. Long story, but it's summarized in this thread, post #27.
