He then told a factual lie that misled the court in a case concerning sexual harrassment charges that had been brought against him.
Martha Stewart landed in jail for doing exactly this.

No, that's actually not what Lott said. He directly referred to the time when Thurmond ran for president and said we wouldn't have all these problems now if he had been elected then. Here's the direct quote:

Strom ran for President in 1948 and Lott was born in 1941. It aint possible what you suggest Lott said.

Hoovie, once again, I decline the Admin position. I know that you guys have BEGGED me to be an Admin, but I just don't think I can do that right now. I would set a new record for passing out infractions in one day. I'd start by giving one to anybody who disagreed with me!
