I am just grateful, that all of my friends at Hood are alright. I have heard from all but one of them, and that family just moved there. My neighbor is getting in touch with them to make sure they are ok as well.
It all boils down to a man choosing to murder, and families are left suffering terrible loss.
This occurred at the soldier support center, where soldiers do their medical screenings before or after a deployment. Imagine those families whose soldier came back from a year-long deployment, safe, the relief these families had, only for them to be killed at work!?
My heart breaks for them.

The last I heard they had him on a ventalator I think someone should go in and "Accidently trip over the power cord and it get accidently pulled out.".....
I heard about these shootings on the radio and then later turned to watch Fox news. As soon as I heard there was a shooting on the army base I got an ill feeling. In the back of my mind I thought, "Please let me be wrong about this...but my gut tells me this is going to be a Muslim shooting people".
For over an hour I watched and they never gave a name so I thought maybe I was lucky and I was going to be wrong. Then they gave the name of the shooter.
How many times do these "peaceful" muslims get to kill people before we realize the whole religion is a plague that should be eradicated? They aren't peaceful. They aren't godly. They are murderers for allah. 99% of all major terrorist attacks against our nation for 30 years now have been *ding ding ding*...Muslims!
I am so frustrated with this whole situation and I wish that someone had taken the early warning signs seriously. I would like to think that by now we have learned that we cannot afford to overlook the kinds of warning signs that appear to have been evident.
That having been said, I just don't see how any of the major issues can be resolved in the current climate with the current approach. I just pray for the future of our country and the world that our children are inheriting. Whether we like it or not, both sides claim to be victims. Both sides accuse the others of being murderers. Both sides accuse the other of not actually being godly. And both sides accuse the other of being much too militant to be peaceful.
I too was frustrated but not surprised to hear that it was a Muslim who perpetrated this. However, I know that there are those on thge other side who say that when they get bombed, they can assume some sort of Judeo-Christian background or country.
The one thing that I think is absolutely necessary is that if American Muslims or Arab-Americans do not want to be associated with this, they need to come out and strongly renounce this at the highest levels and not have outside apologetics defend them.
