I agree with you, I'm not bashing, just being honest about what we taught and were taught during our UPC days. We taught the message at one time, trust me we were die hards. Still have tapes of hubby at General Conference back in the 80's in Calif preaching it loud and clear, shouting his head off about how the standards are salvation. Thankfully we no longer teach or preach it as salvation.

Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. I know I keep repeating this, but it is a call to the church to come out and be separate. Yes, the UPC is a holiness fellowship, and thank Jesus for it.

I will agree here. If standards judge the spiritual condition of an individual, then they are salvational in nature.

If I remember right....you had your own HOLINESS OR HELL website.
