Gen 13:14 And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
Gen 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever.
Gen 13:16 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
Gen 13:17 Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto thee.


His promise that in thee all families of the earth will be blessed. By the Messiah who was to come.

Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

We will now see the children of faith. His heavenly or spiritual children. He believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness. FAITH God is really his exceeding and great reward. Not really his riches nor his descendants, I AM. God is ultimately his reward

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

All people are saved by faith in God, Old or New Testament(Covenant) Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness just like us. How is belief shown through faith. They are different. You can't have faith until you get belief. Belief is the knowledge, faith is the action that follows. Somebody can get all the information but never move to action and will never be saved. Knowledge will not save you. Studying will get you knowledge. Knowledge will provide understanding. Wisdom is knowing what to do with that knowledge. Faith will move a person to action. Works always are the result of Faith. By FAITH the patriarchs obeyed God and were saved by them. Works demonstrated their Faith. Therefore we are children of Abraham through FAITH.

Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Heb 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Heb 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Heb 11:11 Through faith also Sarah herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Heb 11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.


Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
Gen 15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
Gen 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
Gen 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Pastor DT Salaz, I want to point out is that what you are confirming over and over with your many posts is that a true member of Israel, a true biblical Jew, is one who keeps the Covenant and Commandments of God. And what was true then is still true today....

This issue is what I hoped you would see with my question about Ezra 6:21. There Ezra said that only the natural Children of Israel, and the people who "joined them” (became proselytes) and “separated himself from the uncleanness of the peoples of the land" (lived according to the Law) so they could "worship the LORD, the God of Israel" (walked in righteousness before God), could partake of the Passover. Pastor DT Salaz, that means that unless these people (Jews and strangers) were following God's commandments, they were not part of His chosen people.

With this in mind, would you please explain the following:

(1) Since the question whether a man or woman qualifies to be a biblical Jew still consists of their obedience to God's Covenant, and since the Bible clearly shows God's Old Covenant has passed and His New Covenant is the only Covenant He makes available to save men today, if a person is not aligned to God's New Covenant, can they be considered a part of His chosen people?

(2) Since the Bible only gives examples of biblical Jews returning to their physical Promised Land after repenting and returning to God, how can modern Israel be considered the same type of returning since there never was any such repentance or returning to God?

(3) Can you provide the information where today's Jews separated themselves from the world around them as commanded by Ezra 6:41? And since the New Covenant is the only Covenant today, this would involve separation from Jewish traditions and superstitions that are contrary to the commands of Jesus Christ and His Apostles.

(4) Can you give evidence where any man or woman ever followed the Old Covenant commands necessary to qualify as a biblical Jew since the time of the AD70 destruction of the Jewish Temple?

(5) If you cannot provide evidence where a man or woman ever lived up these Old Covenant commandments, and if you believe there still exists biblical Jews as described in the Old Covenant, can you give where in the Bible God said obedience to His commands and His Covenant are NOT needed before a man or woman can be considered a "biblical Jew"?

Pastor DTSalaz, like has been already pointed out, NO ONE is suggesting that there are no Jews today. It is a fact that Jews do exist and that God loves them as much as He loves any other peoples of the world. God is NOT a respecter of persons, and neither should we. What is in question here is whether a man or woman can qualify as a part of God's Chosen People while still living outside His commandments and His covenant. I contend that nowhere does the Bible say that a person—any person—can be a part of God's Chosen people unless they are in His Covenant and are living according to His commandments. This same notion is why you keep hearing men make the statement here that it is not about RACE but about GRACE....

Please remember that Jesus looked at a natural born Jew named Nicodemus and told him that except he be born again, he would not see nor enter the kingdom of God (See John 3:1-12). Elder, Jesus told that religious leader of the Jews that his natural birth meant nothing, and that unless he was Born Again into His New Covenant, he would be spiritually lost. If it was true then, it is still true today....

StMark, don't disrespect God by using prayer like a club to hit the men and women who are in disagreement with Eld. Epley and others on this subject. No one has attacked the Jewish people. It is offensive for you to suggest as much.

Even during the Old covenant Mercy and Grace were provided Individually as well as nationally or corporately.

We do not differ though we call this the time or dispensation of grace. Grace was demonstrated throughout history.

Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

God Gave the inhabitants of Cana a period of Grace. He will not bring judgment unless it is justly deserved. God grants a time period but wickedness will ultimately be judged. For we are saved by grace through Faith If grace were not given life would not continue. Grace is the giving of good things by a loving God. Mercy is a withholding of just judgment and the punishment that is deserving. He then used Israel to deliver Justice.

Gen 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.


We are still awaiting the cup of his wrath to be filled with the wickedness of this world. At that time God gave the Amorites 4 generations or 400 years till judgment would come. Plenty of time for repentance. His people that recieved the Law, during that time he would judge more quickly and severely.

Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Joe 3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
Joe 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Elder, the Bible never says it was up to God to know this lineage, it always says it was up to THEM. They were the ones who needed that information to PROVE their pure bloodline....

You really need to get in that Book and read all the verses that all of us have been giving you. Elder, Truth can only be based on what God's Word says, not on what we think may someday happen....
