I have to seriously wonder whether that's a mission that God has called you to, or something you've called yourself to....but anyway, that's between you and Him.
Anyway... while you work to "bring down the house" on the Philistines, I think most of us are better off working to "build up the house" of the Lord.

OK. You may be right. Any hunch as to what percentage of purported messages are genuine? And by that I mean they really came from God Himself, spoken via His chosen prophet (or tongues interpreter or whatever the case may be). Kick out the failed predictions, the cheats, the lucky guesses (even though we have no way of knowing which were merely lucky and which were God's words -- I'm talking about your hunch, after all), etc. What's left? Maybe 1%?

Pel, the trouble with you is that you shoot down any theory, opinion or conjecture that isn't happy-go-lucky-pie-in-the-sky-pot-of-gold-at-the-end-of-the rainbow fluff.
You attempt to marginalize any posters who attempt meaningful conversation about the REALITY of the time we live in. It gets old.
Your bitterness is acidic.
I usually enjoy your posts, but you've become increasingly ugly over the past couple of months.
Why are you drawn to an "Apostolic" forum?
What's the deal?
Why does AFF attract every malcontent with an axe to grind?
You're right Ed, I appreciate the feedback. I have been negative the last little while. Two months? Maybe, it comes and goes.
I take the statement: "You attempt to marginalize any posters who attempt meaningful conversation about the REALITY of the time we live in" seriously.
Not because of the topic - because I will continue to seek to critic the subject; but it's wrong to "marginalize" anyone. I'll try to be more careful in the way I post.
I lot of things just get rattled off in a post and you don't always get the feeling into the words. I'll work on that. A lot of things I say in jest but I never intend to belittle someone - maybe an opinion, but we all need to be careful there as well.
"Your bitterness is acidic." All bitterness is. The things is, I had a "bad attitude" when I was in the org and doing everything right. I had a bad attitude when I stuck up for Stanley Chambers after he was roasted for being a "compromiser" in Bible College. I had a bad attitude when I didn't return to Bible College after they had closed the place down 3 times the previous year.
My bad attitude goes back a long way and it really puzzles me. You know, once someone (true story) was screaming at me about my bad attitude and they continued to scream until they could no longer stand up. An ambulance was called and the individual was hospitalized. Really.
What had infuriated them was I turned around and walked quietly away when they had first started screaming at me. I have never been able to discover how I might have improved my attitude to avoid such confrontations in the future. Guess what, it happened again with the same person screaming at me. Another ambulance ride.
All I came away with from that experience was that I was the one who was "bitter" and that I was the one with the "bad attitude." That has never made any sense to me. Why is it that ... well, you know. Some people can have the worst attitudes with impungnity and drag everybody down, and entire organization can be ruined - but if you speak out about it- you have the bad attitude.
I guess it's my fault for expecting things like that to make any sense at all.

Your questions are unanswerable and, IMO, unfruitful.
All that matters is that God does speak to us today.

Maybe we all need to look in the mirror and check our attitudes.

Pel, you are an incredibly brilliant man.
Seriously.
Personally, I don't think you should stop "raging against the machine."
However, I do think you have too much to offer to dwell on the idiocy of org politicos continually and forever. They are not worthy of this type of personal attention.
