Sometimes you have to think outside the box.
Jesus set a great example of that!

I'm thinking of Rev 10:11 and the words the Lord spoke to John - "And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."
There isn't much difference, IMO, to being called to stand before all people, on t.v. with your loins girt about with truth.
A man can lose himself behind a pulpit in a country church just as well as on t.v.
We pray for faithful men of God to stand before nations, peoples, tongues and kings - with truth and not showmanship!

I think sometimes the term, "out of the box" isn't always equated with balance. In other words, some people use that term in order to get out of the norm to do their own thing, just because they want to follow their own selfish direction and desires.
I agree with you on this point, but I'm always careful when "out of the box" is used on some issues.
Just wanted to post my thoughts on that, as it's always been on my mind. Not hitting your post in a personal way.
On RJ's message speaking on bringing the palm and the willow - bring your praise and your tears - worship with balance - was awesome and set a good example. It was something people, IMO, are craving. How do I live with pain? How do I have peace in this? How do I live for God, faithfully with these circumstances in my life? The depth and feeling of his testimony was very powerful for that teaching.
We've always heard - worship your way out of it! That can be true, because then you place your trust in God. But, RJ brought it a step further by saying - bring balance - bring all of it and serve God, because it's okay! That's what He wants from you!
The strength and spirit of his presentation would draw many to his website and from that will find truth! That's why he was wise and allowed the anointing to open blinded eyes and reach for hungry hearts!

It was a great message - - I'm not sure that I have ever heard prayer taught like that. I want to get his book.
I understand what you are saying about "out of the box". I guess I used it in the context of "out of the norm" of what is expected. Don't stay inside your little circle...........don't be afraid to cross the bounderies we've placed on ourselves and Jesus.
Jesus wasn't afraid of who he was around -- he never compromised his message by who he was around.

NO problem - that's the kind of book you want to make your own markings in and keep.

Again, I think he did a great job & he actually ministered with a beautiful thought in a tremendous way, I just have issue with the medium.
Did he do wrong? No, but as for me, I am not comfortable with the medium chosen.
JMHO Though.

I guess I have been away from this thinking for so long .. I am just dumbfounded.
the medium he chose???? to minister to millions verses hundreds! I don't get it...sorry ! He is getting calls from all over the world, how his testimony touched them, his book will get into the hands of more people than ever.
