I didnt read everything about that particular show, but I thought I saw something about a guest on that show was a particular challenge for the censors....meaning she had a potty mouth..I'd hope some portions of the taping were uncomfortable for a born again, HG filled person....

about going to David Letterman - nothing he talks about, very few guest he has or extra entertaining segments, are anything Christians, especially pentecostal folks should waste their time seeing...The arguement can be made that we see and hear the same thing on our job or out at the mall...so nothing is EVER cut and dry.

I dont think we as born again believers we are to stick our head in the sand and shelter ourselves from the real world, neither do I think we need to expose ourselves to things that are of the world that could be harmful. Our only commandment, as I understand it, it to bear fruit...how can you bear fruit if you dont go out into the harvest...BUT you dont go out there and become like the world and allow yourself to be influenced - you are a part of this world to make a difference

But the bottom line is - we make our own choices about our lives - and if we are living like we should, those choices are easy. (Most of the time)
