I accept your apology.

IMO is not an exemption or disclaimer from anything. It's almost implicit that that which someone types is their own opinion.

If my research is accurate.

The group that is sponsoring this event is not gov't-based and describes this event as a spiritual event, held at a church:

Each year on the third Monday of January schools, federal offices, post office and banks across America close as we celebrate the birth, the life and the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Sacramento DrMLK Jr Sunday Celebration is an occasion of worship, prayer and celebration of the work and memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. This inclusive event is bringing healing, help and hope to the whole Church and community of Sacramento. Next year's event will be January 18th, 2009, at 6 pm, at Capital Christian Center, 9470 Micron Ave, Sacramento, near Bradshaw Road next to Highway 50. (916) 856-5683. Come with you congregation for a time of freedom in Christ and building Hope into the whole community! Send Email to: samuel@ccconline.cc

Or is this not the event?
I am impressed that you would take the time to research and get the facts.

Perhaps some of your reputation here is undeserved.

As far as those who would slam this as being against what the Tulsa crowd and others still in the mothership hold.

Generally it is ok to go out among the worldly and Trintarians and minister.

It is something altogether different to invite them to minister in your church such as KP among others have done.

Hand hurts because it was slapped with an Administrator warning for "name calling".

** still wonders how AFF can have entire posts aimed at defaming people and whole churches and organizations without proper facts to support, but when someone calls another out for being "malicious" they are arrested **

Nevertheless, I take my slap. I've already apologized to AK. We are making up now. Right, AK?

LOL! Just so you will know. A libel claim will never hold up coming from an opinion based forum. The person would also have to prove some sort of loss from any personal attacks. I really did not mean to offend anyone.

Generally, I agree. This was in the news yesterday. Did you see it?

The post on the musicministers blog has been removed but I think I remember it saying the MM thing is on the 19th.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO CAN DECODE

Interesting to see 20/20 and others comment on it ...

20/20 seemed so authoritative.

Judge from ALL the facts, not just what it so quickly appears to you. Be slow to judgement. If they are touring with MM, or appearing with her on TBN or for a live television concert, then you have every right to point out the inconsistencies. I doubt this is a major MM event. She wouldn't ask this band, people she doesn't know, to play.
Wrong. She frequently uses area bands to play for her (even entire MM concerts) because they feel like celebrities to play for her and she doesn't pay them. It puts a whole lot more money in her pocket.
