I believe electing a man with many questionable associations and alliances is serious. Someone who is willing to remove our troops from Iraq before the mission is finished is dangerous. Time will tell what is overcooked and extreme. I wish him well. I prayed for him last night and today.

Another reason is that for me the whole Palin debacle illustrates the gullibility and short sightedness of too many of our people that make religious affiliation a litmus test for their candidate. Palin was presented as a 'spirit filled', born again, conservative believer and the ultra-cons went orgasmic on here and other places, tripping over themselves in adoration and adulation for 'one of us'. "She's one of ours so she must be good for the country" was the ignorant and arrogant assumption.

The problem is that her own people didn't feel she was qualified to run the country. For obvious reasons they hid it from us. As it turns out though she is ignorant of "basic civics, governance, issues, and policy" and she refused help from her own supporters in prepping for debates and major interviews and she verbally abused her staff. To me, this is indicative not only of a person of low character but a person who should never, ever be allowed to have even the outside chance of being the President of the US. Do we really want a person making major decisions who screams at their staff and won't listen to advice and who fails to have even a basic understanding of the fundamentals required for her job? I don't.

Palin was and is good for our country. If she was such a fool how did she become governer of her state and take on the establishment and cleaned up Juneau sending some folks to jail? She took on the big oil influence and coerced them to give some of their profits back to the state which was given to the citizens. She had an 80% approval rating. Your claims in the above paragraph is hearsay at this point. You read something in Newsweek (now there's an independent and objective source) and you swallow it hook, line and sinker. Who's gullible?

This is one of my pet peeves. How apostolics jump on bandwagons w/out the slightest clue as to the facts. We join the latest hair brained schemes, invest in Nigerian Ponzi schemes, cash in life insurance on our own church members to pay for buildings we don't need, and support political candidates merely because they're one of us. It's stupid and reveals a serious Achilles heel in regard to lack of wisdom and prudence (rooted in an institutional inferiority complex?) among too many of us and I'm glad that the egg is on our face as evidence of our immaturity.

You and Antipas need to star a new organization, "The Real Apostolics" your tag line could be "We Are Smarter Than The Other Guys". You guys are full of hot air. Your arrogance and self righteous rants are really transparent. You enlighten us. not to some profound truth, but to the fact that you guys are self-promoting windbags.

The facts about Sarah Palin I've presented here were reported on your precious Fox News, the paragon of fair and balaced reporting. Do you dispute their reporting? The things that have been said about her by me were said by her own associates and advisors. I'm merely repeating them here as I heard them on Fox News. I didn't read it in Newsweek, get your facts straight. And get your head out of the sand while you're at it. And take a chill pill, you're making way, way too much of this; overreacting to the extreme.

Sounds a bit like sour grapes and back biting to me. Doesn't make it true and it doesn't make it false. I don't think McCain and Palin saw things eye to eye.
