Dear Sis. Rhoni,

No doubt this TOO shall pass! Lord God, grant that this too pass.
Perhaps it has to do with this stage/age of her life. Lord, I know it
didn't come to stay but came to pass. Thank You, Lord God for what
You can do, no matter the stage/age of our lives. YOU ARE the SAME!!
You know just what we need and when! Thank You for the HOPE we
have in YOU!

Roses will bloom again,
Just wait and see
Don’t mourn what might have been
Only God knows how and when that
Roses will bloom again.

Hugs,

Falla39

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Sis. Falla, Thank you so much for the encouragement. Just wanted you to know that while I was waiting on our pictures from Nahkoe's homecoming...I met a lady who is undergoing cancer treatments and had a patch for pain, two heperin locks, and a port. She has brain cancer. As we talked I asked her name so we could pray for her. Her name is Lucy Phelps. She is so sweet...she asked me to write my name on a piece of paper so she could pray for me. She has brain cancer and she wanted to pray for me...talk about humbled.

Please pray for Lucy she has gone through quite a bit!

Blessings,
Rhoni

Sis. Rhoni,

How precious! And indeed we will pray for Lucy Phelps.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures of our meeting
with our sweet sister, Nahkoe and her precious children.
God has His Hand on that little sister and her children!!
And He has His Hand on each one of His precious ones.
He knows where each one is, what they are going through,
and He WILL see every one of us through, in Jesus Name!
Thank You, dear Lord God and Father of us all, for Your
care and concern for Your creation.

Hugs,

Falla39

Just FYI, I am taking a sabbatical for a couple months. I will be reading my PM's & e-mails but will not post until I get through my licensure tests and get a better grip on my 'issues'.

Respectfully,
Rhonda

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Dear Jesus,

Just wanted to say thank you for getting me through the past couple of weeks and helping my mind to concentrate on the things I had to study to take my two national licensure exams. However they turned out...I know and trust your will.

Thank you again.

Your grateful child.

Just found out a major root of some of my emotionality: My HRT [Hormone Replacement Therapy] was negatively interacting with my thyroid medication causing the emotional roller coaster rides. We are weening me off of the high levels of hormones and supplimenting with soy and black cohash. Hopefully I will be back to my happy self

Blessings, Rhoni

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Peace, Be Still
Today's Scripture
“Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm” (Mark 4:39 NKJ).
What do you do when the storms of life seem to be raging against you? One time Jesus was with His disciples in a boat out on the water when they encountered a great storm. The disciples were very afraid, but Jesus on the other hand, was fast asleep. When the disciples woke Him up to see if He could help them, Jesus got up and simply spoke to the storm, “Peace! Be still.” And the seas were calm again.

When difficult times come, you don’t have to be overwhelmed by the waves of worry or fear. Just as Jesus stood up and spoke to the storm, you have power in your words, too. As a believer, the Bible tells us that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you. That means God’s miracle-working power is on the inside of you. He’s given you His authority to declare peace over your home, over your mind, and over your family. Remember, no matter what storms may come against you, the Greater One lives on the inside of you, and He’ll empower you to live in victory in every area of your life!

A Prayer for Today
Father in heaven, thank You for filling me with Your Holy Spirit and for giving me Your authority here on the earth. Today I declare peace over every area of my life and thank You for working things out for my good. In Jesus’ Name.

Re: Sleepless in Texas

This morning while in my devotions God gave me a lot of insight into the things happening in my life at this moment in time. There are friends who love you and think they know what is best for you but just like Job they tend to say the wrong things, that sometimes include:
1. You must have done something wrong...
2. Just repent...
3. Just humble yourself...

It is just like when someone dies and instead of saying nothing they say the wrong thing. It isn't that they mean to hurt you but it just wounds an already wounded person.

Yesterday, God gave me a name for my dream and gave me information to put it into a reality setting. The things that happen in one's life are not always good but according to Romans 8:28 - God has every intention of making them turn around for your good. Such it is with me. God is again filling my life with hope, possibilities, and restoring dreams.

I reiterate: Friends mean well, think they have the right "word', many times it adds to the pain and confusion. Like Job - one must keep the eye on what they know &
look to God for direction because the process is long and hard but the end result is the destiny God has always planned for one to have.

Have a Blessed day everyone.

In God's Grip,
Rhoni
