Kendrick, the point is that many people have Biblical principles engrained, and that is what keeps them right no matter the medium or technology. I have learned to guard my heart and not selectively attack technology. It is this ability to guard my heart that keeps me whether there is a TV, computer, real live women walking around, billboards, etc...
Of course I do not know you so this is not directed at you in particular, but I have noticed that a lot of the people who are so hard-line UC do not really learn how to guard their heart. I have heard many hard-liners complain after church about what a lady was wearing and how much it showed...and if you put a gun to my head I could not have told you who they were talking about because I'm not even looking at or for that.
Perhaps this is why many of them find it so inconceivable that someone can be responsible and disciplined in what they choose to watch.
It's kind of like coloring in a coloring book versus painting on a canvas. There are those who are handicapped to the point that they think it is impossible to paint a beautiful picture with your heart unless all the lines are specifically given to you.

i do have a problem when people get on here and talk about the "magic hair". because first of all Lee stoneking never said in that preaching cd, he just talked about the hair and people tore him up. i think it is good to come here and talk about things but when people get on here and tear other preachers up, i am against it, i like to hear what others beleive in

I thought a forum is where you discuss things....I don't think BK is foisting his convictions on anyone....he is discussing them.....just like the others that are for TV. This is great!! I like to see why people believe what they believe.

Whether he's "foisting" or "not foisting" will be a matter of individual perception, but it's clear to me that but BK's tone is not one of someone simply "discussing" the issue.

I appreciate it Phelps. I have enjoyed being able to get other people's perspective and learn how many different ways something can be viewed. I like the fact that there are so many people here who are so knowledgable about so many things. Then there are those who just think they know everything...has anyone seen Ferd today?

He did not say the words "magic hair". He has and did teach though the doctrine we have called magic hair. He did not merely teach "uncut hair".
