In the Ohio District it used to be minimum $120/yr. That primarily paid the Supt. Secy, Dist. office supplies etc.
In the Rocky Mountain District it is full tithes of Ministerial income with a minimum of 540 per year for ordained.

We don't have a lot of preachers to spread the costs around. Nobody is getting rich or driving fancy cars because of it, it's just what it takes to pay the expenses.

Why don't you think KH runs again? He wanted that job for a lot longer than he's had it. Why would he want to give it up so soon?
He cannot run again due to term limits. After Bishop NA Urshan term limits were put in place, however, it is my understanding, that if the serving GS receives a 2/3 nominating vote it can be extended. (Someone else may be able to answer definitively.)

That makes sense. I didn't realize there are limits in place. So this is his final allowable term (barring the 2/3 extension possibility)? I read Dan's post to mean he would prob opt not to run, not that he had no option. Maybe Dan was considering the extension possibility. When does his term end? Sorry for all the questions. Just curious.
