Do you think they all actually asked the exact question one to another? That’s what the grammar says.

They all certainly asked the same question, though perhaps not with those exact words in each case. That is, they all said to one another "What's going on here? Aren't these people Galileans? And yet we hear them all speaking in our own native languages?"
A paraphrase does not change the number or person of that which is being paraphrased, otherwise it's not really a paraphrase because it no longer has the same import. Does that make sense?
The visitors may have said what they said in slightly different ways, while still saying the same thing (the same meaning). But to change "they each heard them speak in his own language" to "maybe some heard some in some languages" changes the actual meaning of what happened.

If you come with the simplified plan of salvation and they want to learn more, that’s when you bring out the steak and potatoes. Until then? Maybe start out with milk. That’s my goal anyway.
Respectfully though. It’s all good. It can just be overwhelming.

Are you saying that when you ask questions on the forum, you only want to hear a milk-level answer instead of having a meat-level discussion?
She wasn't directing her post to some 10 year old in Sunday School.
Right?

Not sure I come to the same conclusion as to the people hearing everyone speaking in their own language. However, I’d imagine it would be difficult to hear your own language if everyone was speaking a different one.
When people in the church collectively speak in tongues it all kinda sound like one voice, you really can’t differentiate the tongue of pastor holy Joe from that of Patty Pentecost. So, maybe the hearers heard each individual speaker in their own tongue. But, I’m still not sure about this.

Re: Initial evidence
Only the devout heard their own language. The “others” who were the mockers just heard babblers (nonsensical words of the drunken) The Tower of Babel in reverse. Which only those who were devoted to God could understand the communication. Yet, those who were just run of the mill religious couldn’t make anything out. God brought only the devout together but leaves the “others” in their confusion.

Re: Initial evidence
As to the question "does tongues save you?"
If I had responded "yes"
Then one could reply with "what if the person who spoke in tongues is a trinitarian?"
At this point I'm in a delimna, aren't I?
No, we are not posting with guileless children.
We're to be wise as serpents but harmless as doves.

Re: Initial evidence
Since I reposted Esaias' post on Facebook,
others from CACI have posted similarly.
I've been posting daily on tongues as initial evidence.
I've come to the conclusion that CACI fellowship is centered on some core values, but the various congregations are not on the same page on many things.
