Ted Cruz goes Sun Tzu on Trump

It’s interesting how so many Republicrat-Establishment types write Ted Cruz off in media circles. There’s one thing I notice from some left wing media sources. They understand Ted Cruz and they take him seriously. The media writes articles about Cruz as a means of warning the Democrats what they are really up against. They actually tell the truth about him because they recognize him as a threat.

After he was asked about the Gang of Eight bill, Sessions said that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% , along with him and others, opposed the bill, and offered amendments to try and kill the bill. He added that Cruz was effective in lobbying members of the House against the bill.

Eating with family and someone mentioned they liked Cruz but won't vote for him because he supports a VAT tax.

I can't imagine a conservative supporting the VAT tax. It would cause the price of goods to be taxed at every level of production and could cause prices to skyrocket.

Maria brings up the noise regarding the VAT tax, but in the second clip on this link, Ted Cruz explains in the SC debate that it is not a European style "Sales tax", but a simple "Business flat tax". That Tax Foundation agrees with Ted on this.
