I do agree they will call a follow up meeting but I think a lot of what happens after the meeting will be done by mail and phone as a lot of pastors of smaller churches can't travel across the country several times a year for these meetings.

If they have what they want to do all lined out they very well may be prepared to formalize the org. and get it rolling right there in Tulsa. That is what I am guessing will happen. They have no benefit in dragging this out.

I also don't see them having a "shadow" org. while they stay in the UPC. I think they are leaving.

I would be shocked if they stayed but I have been shocked before.

Like I have posted before my pastor's son-in-law talked to Bro. Booker and didn't believe that this meeting would be the start of a new organiztion. He came away with the impression that the minsiters would be talking to see what direction they should take now.

In the future it could develop into another organization but right now I am not sure that this meeting will actually form one this time. I think there will be other meetings and further discussion.

Am I the only one that wonders how many sinners could be reached if all the Tulsa and pro/con Res.4 debate enegry/resources were focused in their direction?

why in the world would we bring "people" into this discussion. This is about wielding power not about saints/sinners.

Booker or Godair I do not remember which told more than one of my friends they were going to have missionary program-youth quizs-the whole enchillada.

I am in contact with conservative preachers all across the nation UPC & independent many have been contacted by phone mostly by Elder Booker either he called them or they called him. And it is a certainty they are going to form something. They are talking about an alliance just what that will entail I do not know. A friend of mine asked them not to do the full-fledged deal like a missions program and just use the IAM but it seems they are planning on the whole deal.
