The degree she received has helped her preaching by the words she uses and the way in which she uses them. She has understanding about herself and others which is why, I assume, that she studied psychology in the first place. I know it was my motivation for studying it.
So stop the jumping on Rhoni for things she didn't say ...pick on someone else today because I am well into my diet and don't have time for idiocrasies .

Sorry, Rhoni, here it is in black and white:
RHONI:
Looks like her divorce from Randy and her education in psychology have been good for her.
BENINCASA:
Divorce a good thing for one's ministry? Oh please.
RHONI:
That isn't what I said... what was meant by it was that she has seemed to rise above her difficulty and going forward.
I'm not jumping on you, I'm just jumping on the idea that the Holy Ghost isn't good for one's ministry in and of itself, it takes a degree and a divorce.......

How can Gods anointing be upon false teaching? What does phychology have to do with preaching Gods word?

I think many men think that preaching is all about having the Holy Ghost...it isn't. Even the scriptures teach us to ..."Study to shew yourself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed".
There have been many sermons I have heard preached by very ignorant people and I have sat there and been ashamed for them, especially when they had no clue what they were talking about, the definitions of the words they were trying to use, and the points they were trying to make had no relevance to the topic.
Education can benefit how God can use a person, and they can reach audiences that they could not reach without it. One can preach a good sermon, speak on a topic with clarity and not necessarily have the Holy Ghost. But oh what God can do with educated preachers...they can enlarge their boundaries proportionately.
So, just because Bro Bennencasa misinterpreted my post and you have twisted it does not change the fact that Paula preaches with more passion, and more intelligence than she ever has before. The trial of going through a public divorce, I am sure, has been both humiliating and embarrassing, not to mention full of criticism from people who don't know the story behind it all. This trial has made her stronger and she can minister to women who have been through similar circumstances.
God uses who God will use, and anoints who he will anoint. Whether we like it or not. Many who cast stones at her only wish God would use them in such a way. Instead of casting stones at her and questioning God why he would use such a woman...we need to look at ourselves and thank God for his mercy and allowing one such as us to be used.
Blessings, Rhoni

I am not an advocate for divorce, I went through it, its bad on all accounts, BUT I will say, I am at peace, my kids are at peace, doors DID NOT shut for me. God saw where I was and held me through. My annointing is mine, I am not worth something because I was linked to him.
I went through it, and thank God I am a different person with more commpassion for people who have to go through this kind of stuff.
I hated it at the time, but now I thank God for the valleys , We have totally recovered and lookin forward.

There are elements of this post that stink to the high heavens of pride and intellectual snobbery.
God has been known to speak through a donkey when he wanted to, and God has been known to use uneducated men like Peter.
A degree in psychology may better equip one to manipulate others but it certainly has little or nothing to do with anointing.
As for the divorce, I have no info on who did what so I am not making any judgment call. I do find the comment strange that her divorce has helped her. After a very high profile split between two ministers you would think someone would be advising her to step back and take time to heal and be restored.
And, what's up with implants? Not sexually attractive enough without them? I fully expect someone now to make the claim that they were necessary for her self-esteem.

Paul wrote the majority of the New Testament. AND your post smells like an intimidated unintellectual man.

In a nice way I don't care for Paula White's preaching too much error.

Wow, Rhoni, I marvel at how greatly your thought process has deviated from the Word.
Do these scriptures ring any bells?
Acts 4:13
13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
I Corinthians 2:4
4And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
True preaching has nothing to do with education and proper words, it has everything to do with the anointing of the Holy Ghost and the demonstration of the power of the Spirit.
Does it help to have good speaking skills? Of course! Do good speaking skills and further education automatically guarantee anointing? No.
Is a good speech in and of itself tantamount to preaching? No.
Let's keep the anointing and the education in their proper places.
