The context means nothing to you???? That scripture is not referring to supernatural gifts and callings. It refers to the covenatal relationship between God and Israel.
Yes Dave it means something to me. What I am asking you is do you think that we can lose our gifts? Can we lose our HG? I know in the story of the talents they were taken away for misuse. But it was because they did not invest the talents properly.

It IS on Benny Hinn and his ministry for reporting them as actual miracles, if they do, as if they were verified. BTW I never said that it can't happen in an Apostolic church. Don't even try to put words in my mouth.,

Exactly but they are trusting so much and are believing what they are hearing that they assume they were healed. People have stopped treatment over stuff like that and come to find out they were not really healed.
That's happened at Apostolic Churches as well........oh wait , that must be ok since we preach Acts 2:38
We can't attack a ministry like Benny Hinn's when we have the same thing happening in our churches/movement.
People claim healings, miracles, prophetic words ALL THE TIME........without final verification. They claim them through faith.
when people come up to testify, in cases like cancer, THEY report the healing. they say something like a Heat came and the pain completley lifted. It's THEIR WORDS
in other cases, people that are in wheel chairs, blind or deaf people are checked out for verification while they are in line BEFORE they come up
THAD! WE CAN'T VERIFY THAT THOSE WHEELCHAIRS BELONG TO THOSE PEOPLE! We need to check the serial number and see if it REALLY belongs to that person, before we can rejoice that they are now walking.

There is a difference in someone proclaiming healing for themselves, and someone else doing it, even using doctors to 'verify' the healing. Do we do that in our services? No. Typically, the person claiming healing will then go to their own doc WHO KNOWS THEM and will get verification there.

I've heard Benny tell people to go back to the Doctor and get an "official" clean bill of health.
He had to start doing that after people were filing lawsuits on behalf of their dead loved ones who believed they were healed and stopped taking their meds and getting treatments.
