It's OK Nightowl, that's why I started this thread.
I do think it's important to balance the criticism in ones own mind with other evidence... the 120 did speak in tongues
together in the Upper Room.
There is instruction for speaking in tongues in
1 Cor. 14.
I am not a cessationist, nor do I promote such a doctrine, however, I do think it's important to voice our concerns on the inside of Pentecost. It's far to easy to dismiss criticism when it comes from the outside - and it's automatically assumed to be an unfriendly attack.
