I can't remember God ever speaking audibly to me. I guess if He had I'd remember sure enough. I know when He's spoken though.

I've walked into a prayer meeting before and there was the most beautiful fragrance in that room. Indescribable but wonderful.

He's also spoken to me in dreams and visions.

And of course He speaks through His Word every time I read it.

Jer 23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

I'm so glad God is not a God who is afar off from us, but he's up close and personal and His presence is "abiding".

I heard a choir singing once when I drove upon the church property. I mentioned it to the two ladies with me. They looked at me strangely.

Turns out they couldn't hear the music.

If we don't hear the voice of God when He speaks to us speaking to us through our mind and thoughts, then how can we hear Him speak?

I've been kneeling seeking God for His mind when working on a message or just enquiring of Him and I've written down what came to my mind as His Spirit impressed me. What He speaks is heard in my mind and spirit.

I remember several years ago when I lived in Austin, TX, going to a Saturday service in Del Rio. The youth group from our church attended the day service and was invited to cross the border and attend an evening service in Acuna, Mexico. Our Pastor was at first reluctant since we still had to drive back to Austin and attend Sunday morning service, but in the end, he relented and let us cross the border. The poverty was extreme as the people lived in makeshift huts of concrete and sheet metal, but the church was a concrete frame, no windows or doors, with a light bulb dangling from the ceiling. I was reluctant to kneel and pray on the concrete floor because of my dress pants, but as I sat there, a mexican lady came next to me and knelt to pray without hesitation. I felt ashamed and immediately knelt to pray next to her. The service to say the least was 'apostolic'. No microphones or amplifiers, just an acoustic guitar and heartfelt worship. I had never sensed such a pure spirit of unity and worship. After a long drive back to Austin, I only had a few hours to sleep before Sunday morning service, but that night I dreamed and heard the voice of God in my dream. It was one voice but it sounded like many oceans. I can't describe it any other way. When I awoke, I couldn't remember what the voice said, only that I had heard it. The lesson I learned that day is that when we dedicate every waking moment to the work and service of God, He will move supenaturally after we have done all we can to serve Him.

This is probably the most pertinent statement made so far.

I seem to remember some unfinished writings on the subject "The Voice of God". 11 points I believe where to be given, but we all were left in darkness.

Truth is, He does this even when "every waking moment" isn't dedicated to the work and service of the Lord.

You reminded me of something a person explained to me once. It was on the "supernatural". The person explained that we just need to be natural and let God be super. That's the supernatural.

Sis. Pressing-On,

What man can do is natural ability, but when man's ability is exhausted

then God can take it from there and show forth His Great Power.

Sun. evening as we were gathering, there was a terrible accident just

across the state highway from where we were. As I saw it and saw

young people gathered, my heart raced and I felt compelled to be there

for them. A small car was so crumpled I couldn't see how anyone could

have survived. As I approached I recognized a lady and her husband, who

we had known for many years, at the scene. She was talking to the driver,

who was pinned in the crumpled car. She was trying to keep her alert. She

saw me and said, "Pray for her" which I immediately very lightly placed my

hand on this young girl. She looked up at me, bowed her head and was

weeping. When I opened my mouth, out came a language I didn't under-

stand but I felt the Power behind it. I was shaking and I knew a Greater

One had arrived on the scene. I told the girl she was going to be okay.

The lady then said, "Go and pray for the other one". Emergency vehicles

were arriving, police cars, ambulances, fire trucks, etc. As I went to the

other side I got close but was never able to touch the girl in the passenger

side but I prayed and then a police officer kindly asked if I was a family

member, etc. I said, "No, I am just praying". He said they needed to clear

the area around there to make room for Carflite to come in. I moved down

the sidewalk where my 21 yr. old grandson stood. I took his hand and again

started speaking in tongues as I felt the Power of One greater moving in a

powerful way. As we prayed toward that accident scene I said to my

grandson, "Brandon, in the Old Testament, it speaks of "the Angel of His

Presence". Brandon, we represent the "Angel of His Presence" at this acci-

dent scene today. We have been strategially placed here for such a time

as this. We learned a short time later the Carflite helicopter had been can-

celled. They cut the top of the little car off to free the driver. Both were

placed on boards and taken away in ambulances. Yesterday I went to the

supermarket that I frequent often, as I learned the driver of the car was

taking her friend to work there when the accident happened. So I enquired

from one of the ladies I knew if she knew anything of the condition of the

girls. She said I had to come in to replace one of them. She said the girl that

worked there had a broken arm which would require surgery but the driver

was fine. She was the one they had to cut out. She is one I told (simply by

faith) that she would be okay.

There is no way I could take one ounce of glory. The glory was inside,

I was only the conduit or vessel He chose to carry His Presence to a

horrible accident on a busy Texas highway on a Sunday evening in God-

blessed America. America, we MUST BLESS GOD and PRAISE HIS NAME!!!

So, to me, a miracle is what God does after we have done what we can.

He then does what only HE can do!!! The lady who had told me to pray

(we have known her and her husband many years) told me yesterday, "It

was a miracle". Jesus did miracles when He was on earth that they might

know that it was He! He came to His own because He Himself said, The

Jews require a sign. Many believed but there were those who seeing the

mighty things He did, still remained in unbelief. Seeing yet not seeing!

Knowing the Law (Old Covenant) but not believing there was a better

way coming. Jesus said they made the commandments of God of none

effect by their traditions. Therefore when He visited them, they missed

it! Their unbelief stood in their way.

Blessings,

Falla39
