It's an approximation of how to pronounce JHVH (YHWH). Nobody has the 411 on how it was originally pronounced (at least not enough info to get dogmatic about it).

That is it. We have our resident YAHwist sobbing softly into his blanket. On how their is a conspiracy against a Hebrew verb. Yet YAH, Yahshua means nothing to a Modern Jew, to an atheist, to the pinko commie, to the homosexual, degenerate, but it is Jesus who offends them. One Yahsuaite told me that they call Jesus Yahshua being of all the devistation done in Jesus name. On Moody Radio this Saturday at work they had a Jewish outreach, where Jesus name wasn’t mentioned once. But they Yahshuaed it up and down the dial. At the name of Jesus the devils tremble. Casting out devils with the word YAH? It would sound like Octoberfest, with everyone saying Ja, Ja, Ja.

Are you saying I dont "like" the name of Jesus Christ?

Show me just one time in upward of 10 thousand posts here where I have spoken against the name of Jesus Christ. As a matter of fact go back over my last several thousand posts and you will see I have used the name of Jesus in probably 90% of my posts.

But thats not enough for those who are obsessed with fighting anything that is not American English apparently.

Does seem like an obsession when one cannot use a Hebrew name for God in a post now and then without it being viciously attacked.
