While these changes i was referring to are all due to me or my fault it doesn't make me feel great, I still hurt. I ache. There are somethings I really have no control over at all. There are somethings I might be able to manipulate, but I have messes up so many things in my life that the only bright spots are HUGE bright spots and I need them to help me. I feel...very scared.

Scared of what man, fear he that can destroy you and your soul and everything about you.... as far as the rest of it why trifle... thats a big enough thing to worry about.

I mean really, as far as anyone here on the forum (That doesn't know you personally) knows, your going through a rough time and it's really crushing your faith. Thats it pretty much.

You have come here for advice or help or guidance or maybe just someone to talk to but you won't say anything at all to really let us do that... you get what I'm saying? I'm not trying to pry information out of you or get you to say things that you don't want to but really no one here can help you if we don't have a small idea of whats going. I mean at least a category would help. Is it a death, a declension of faith thats scaring you and you feel you can't stop it? A past run in with someone or something who know plans to destroy you either physically, socially, or mentally? I mean there is so much that could be said that you are not allowing to be said by withholding certain things. I'm not saying you have to just give us every intimate detail but obviously you would not have come here in the first place if you didn't want help, and all we can do is go by what we think might be happening, while the others who have problems like this use this situation to further back up their own feelings towards God (which could be said the same for me I guess but there is a whole lot that I am not saying simply because it's my opinion and I don't have scripture to back it up. Anything I say will have scripture to back it up.... that is unless im trippin shrooms BLEH NEH NEH WIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRR... :AIRGUITAR! )

But for reals, I legitimately want to help and I hope you arent misconstruing me for a gossiper... I used to be baptist but not anymore.

A kind word? Or just what you feel should be said to you. If you know what you need to hear to get better why ask anyone?

However I must agree with you if the reason your coming here is to hear kind words then you might want to go to a positive reinforcement forum or something because the word of god isn't always going to be "kind".

True, but everyone's voice deserves to be heard regardless of how long one has been here or whatever.

I'm going to tell you my story.
I'm Apostolic, but God pulled me out of the Apostolic church. Does that mean they are wrong? No. Being Apostolic doesn't mean where I go to church but what I believe, following after the word of God, and doing them.I still believe and live the truth and will not give that up.
How can you when God gives you the understanding of His word?
But He has me in a non-denomination church, where they do not baptize in Jesus Name. It really breaks my heart. They do know where I stand on this and I won't back down.
Why did God do this? Is it to lead them to truth? Is it to learn something for myself in all this? I have learned alot from it already. I've learned that I can stand on His word and not give in. In some ways it makes me stronger. I've learned that God is moving there as well. And I now have a Brother in the Lord there as well. I can't help thinking that God is getting a church ready for him. If He can't move His people in the direction He needs them to Go He will call out those that will say Yes Lord! He will have a people that will follow Him and a people that will let Him mold them to his will.
This has been my prayer lately. "Make my thoughts your thoughts, and your ways my ways."
Can I learn from these people? Yes, they show great compassion, and mercy.
They do stand on principle and what is right and wrong.
But on the other hand I have to be very careful and divide the word of truth.
I don't know where you're at, at this time. But no matter what hold on to the truth. That will never change.

You speak well, Dalton. Although this shouldn't be taken wrong, and also applies to Berk, there is a sense in which posts spoken from the heart stand on their own, and any reply is irrelevant.

Okay, well, I am not really sure what you are talking about because the changes I made came pretty much in spite of what I thought. I was very conservative, not really looking to change either. But when I saw the things I saw, I had to change to keep my integrity. Anyway, I wish you the best!
