However the fact is our bodies are still the temple of the Holy Ghost. I don't think God wants us looking like some freaks or like a camilion (like that guy who had his who face tatooed). I don't think it brings glory to God when we have folks runing around looking like Todd Bentley.
. . .
I think God cares more about what we do than how we look.

on my cell tonight sorry for bad typing; and not able to input as i want to right now
Sorry for the delay in answering I was out on a date with my Wife and Daughter.
No we can't do anything we want too. It is not ONLY the exterior it is the evidence of what is shining the inside. I would not get a devil tattoo. That is not what is shining in me. If I got a tattoo for my wife, my daughter, or my faith it would be because that is what is shining in me. The key is motives which only God will know anyway. I do believe that God cares more about the condition of the heart because if the outside is clean, but the inside in rotten the home is not righteous. That being said there is no evidence of Biblical support against tattoos. I know about Leviticus which doesn't apply as NOW has already showed. Some people just hold to the old school mindsets.

Great copy & paste there. How 'bout an original thought?
Here's one:
No matter how long of an article anyone can write, original Greek words one finds in Strong's Concordance, or personal feelings of exclusivity against those who are different than they, there is absolutely nothing in the bible that is anywhere close to forbidding tattoos or even speaks negatively of them. Period.
This is an unalterable truth.
It's right next to the scripture about shooting heroin up your vein.

Don't like tattoos at all! Don't have any; don't intend to get one. I think they look trashy and really less than classy. That being said, I don't preach against them nor do I say anything negative from the pulpit because it's my personal opinion.
That being said, I don't know why someone would want to get a permanent marking on their body that they would have to cover up.
If I EVER got a tattoo, which I won't, there would only be 2 possibilities:
1. Phi. 4:13 (just the reference)
2. Mdot (ironman logo)
But again, it ain't gonna happen.

There is no scripture against heroin. Heroin is obviously bad. Of course the addict won't agree with you but the rest of society will. A tattoo is not obviously bad. I honestly can't believe you are even trying to compare the 2.

What about the scripture about smoking crack! If it's not in the bible then it's not sin, right?
And here again, you make an astute observation. You missed your calling...you should have been a criminal defense attorney!! (The DA would love you)
This is a tremendous argument since we all know that smoking crack and getting a tattoo has an identical affect on an individual. It's true, I've met people who go get a tattoo and then their mind is so messed up they can't drive their car, hold a job, it's illegal, prison time if you get caught.......you're right....the principle behind tattoos and smoking crack are IDENTICAL!!!
