Some of those clearances even require personal interviews of persons who have known you... but he was not caught. I seriously doubt that general profiling of every person of a specific persuasion or genetic makeup would do one ounce of good.

Actually I think they did have the right information to nail him before he struck, but possibly were afraid making their "profiling" public and held off.

So in the profiling, we determine the person to not be Muslim, the person is not as much of a security threat.
To that determination I say, "baloney" and such practices would only make things worse.
As for age, race, traveling habbits,-- ancillaries to make one feel good about profiling Muslims.
SHAMEFUL BIGOTRY TOLERATED IS UNWISE!
Today it's somebody else, tomorrow it's you!

I don't know that is shameful bigotry - No one is calling for hatred and intolerance against Muslims - and I certainly would not feel good about any of it.
Do you think the US intelligence does NOT profile individuals for potential threats? Should profiles of would be killers and terrorists never include religion - even if preaching radical Jihad is a known tenet?
I think we are naive if we think this is not happening on a large scale already.
Right or wrong, a Middle Eastern Muslim with a prayer shawl and a backpack sends up different flags then a Texas cowboy carrying a saddle.

Re: Full Body Scanning at Airports
A General is calling for strip search of all male Muslims ages 18 - 28.

"There are 25 who are trained with explosives on their body and are "in the pipeline". Within 120 days he believes they will strike. He says we "must profile" and have only a short time to act.

I wasn't expecting this response from you, but then, I've formed my own prejudices along the way that I need to keep in check.
Thanks for your your prayers for me.
I will pray for you too, ChTatum.
God bless you, your family and your ministry.
