I'm just saying that all we can do is read and apply scripture. If the argument against tongues is that some people cannot speak, then are we to throw out all obedience based on the fact that some cannot perform it? There are some born without the mental capacity to repent...does that mean that I don't need to be obedient and repent? Personally, I think not. My approach is to teach what the Bible says, but leave the ultimate judgement up to a God who has His own ways, but places a very high dividend on obedience.

I don't believe the Bible was divinely inspired, nor infallible, though much of it is beneficial and worth study. As far as the supernatural goes, I'm skeptical of it, and that includes the Bible stories. I suspect that they are (at least most of them) based on actual events, but the written accounts were "enhanced". The Egyptian plagues, e.g., could have actually happened, quite similarly to the Exodus account (there are theories, anyway, involving red algae in the river, causing fish to die and frogs to leave it, and so on), but God's direct involvement as punishment for Pharaoh's saying "no" was added later. IMO.
I understand.
Do you believe in "divine inspiration"? If so...then what would be an example? Do you believe any of the Bible was divinely inspired?
If some miricles/super-natural events happened....then why couldn't all of them?
Have you ever physically witnessed a true-to-life, no-joke super-natural event?
PO you mean to tell me that this is a apostolic web site and I just gave you a apostolic link and you don't agree with it?
You are placing a whole lot of trust on the word - Apostolic. I doubt we will agree with any one organization's stance 100%. Aside from the New Birth, there are things I am not in agreement with in my own organization.

Are you reading that I said He didn't give his plan of salvation, because I never said that. Just to be clear. Perhaps I misunderstood your post.
PO...sorry if i misread your post. i'll try to clarify.
I read your post to say that you believe God has a salvation plan...and that he would not change it for a few people(deaf/mute/tongueless/etc...). I took your post to be that you were speaking of Acts 2:38 as that salvation plan.
O I believe that a mute deaf dumb cannot speak person will be saved thats why I am questioning the 3 step salvational process people put there trust in signs and not in Jesus
