PP: I have a BIL...running three businesses, that he owns, and his going to college...he's 55.

He did take a year at ABI 30 years ago.

At 39...you're just a pup...go on back to school if you can see a way.

there are on line degrees you can earn today, that give you credit if you can pass the tests with tthe knowledge you've picked up along life's way.

No, I am not agreeing with that. The first couple of years as an adult tend to be pivotal times. For them to pursue some special time to consecrate their life to God, could be a very good thing regardless of the occupation they end up in.

For the record though; I agree that a secular education is probably very important for most people who plan to support families and churches (assuming they have the abillity to handle it).
