Zactly. I have been just holding my nose and voting for McCain up till now because I have never liked him but of course he is ten times better than any liberal Dem.

Sarah Palin has me genuinely excited now about the campaign and if it excites a white 49 year old male I can only imagine how it will energize Republican or Republican leaning woman PLUS some Hillary voters who feel disenfranchised.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Yes, his change is scary. But it is scarier that the American people are buying into it - lock, stock and barrel. Well, the Democrats anyway. lol

Well "tokens" are put in place by someone. Obama is different in that he has been voted into place,by many folks who have no interest in tokenism or anything that smacks of it.

I'm telling you guys-- Obama is different and many, many folks see that he IS NOT like the other politicians.

Obama is no one's pawn.

Way back on NFCF I stated that Obama was being groomed for some roll ahead. I wish I had saved that post. lol

Don't agree with you on Obama - at all.

But, let's be friends. I have friends that are wrong about many things. Just messin' with you 1399.

he's been voted in by a lot of uneducated voters, IMO. he may not admit or realize he's a pawn, but I think he really is. He's been voted in IMO by folk swho would strongly disagree with the token opinion...but in reality, they are. Their vote was a knee jerk reaction

I agree, he's not like other politicians, he's not a politician at all....I dont know how he could be described but if he becomes the president...Heaven help us

Re: Sarah Palin for GOP Vice President

Sarah Palin??? I think....BIG MISTAKE!

Now if it had been MICHAEL Palin I'd say...
"Now you're talkin'!"

And what would you be saying?????

"Bring out your dead" "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition!" and last but not least "I'm a LUMBERJACK!" Yeah Michael Palin, THAT'S the ticket NOT Sarah!

P.S. she alread smells a little Clintonian to me in the charges of her firing a government employee because she didnt think he would get rid of her EX brother in law from HIS government job!

I fear this already is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Kinda like rotten eggs! Now if this were MICHAEL I think the taste would be more like........

SPAM!

Friends indeed.

I love AFF and the folks I've met on here.

If I wasn't on here, I'd be on "other sites" that entertain porn and encourage promiscuity.

I'd rather be on here and want to be on here any day.
