Everyone has told at least one lie in his or her life time.
Not everyone are liars.
As a Christian we still sin, but are we sinners? No, we're not.

Telling a lie does not make one a liar, at least not a pathological one any way.
I thought I read the posts carefully-- I did not read where in fact you did let someone know in leadership about what you have recently heard.
I was angered by the fact that I read that you said,
"If the pastor of the church knew where this was going on, he would condone it anyway,"
or something to that affect.
Maybe I misinterpreted what you typed. If I did, I apologize now.
But if that is indeed the gist of what you typed, then you are the one who crossed the line, not me.

I left the word "not" out and edited it in. But regardless, saying someone is lying is calling them a liar!
And no I have not nor will I let anyone in authority know, at least not at this time. If the LORD prompts me to pursue this further then I will go through the proper channels. It is not MY place to inform him of what is going on in his church. I don't go there. I have someone very close to me that does.
And again, for the third time, my point of this thread was to find out if this was an isolated event OR a new trend going on.
Some PM's shows this is not an isolated event. I am not going to call them liars because I didn't ask them for names, dates, and etc!
We need to pray for our young couples!

Re: Swinging Church!
Everyone just calm down. What happens in several congregations doesn't represent an entire organization. I'm UPCI and I know of some instances of couples experimenting with this sort of thing. And I don't find that it reflects on the organization. I believe it illustrates that some couples had a lapse in judgment and tried to fulfill unmet needs in improper ways. And I know some pastors might also be prone to falling into this. They are human beings too.

So the Lord prompted you to go to AFF to investigate this matter more thoroughly for what reason?
But He has not prompted you to go to the proper channels to address this serious sin?
We need to pray for you, and any one else on this thread that has all of this "first hand knowledge" of such gross sin but has decided to not confront the people or go to the proper leadership officials so this can be addressed properly.

There is a "clothing optional" church (pentecostal) in the hills of NC.

There are hardly ANY pentecostal churches in the hills of NC. That narrows it down quite a bit.

Adultery is adultery any way you commit it.
BTW, I love your avatar. You look beautiful.
