How am I supposed to know that when I only get initials?

And, apparently, these men heard him preach at a UPC camp meeting, so my assumption is that they are UPC.

She posted a link - not "stuff from other forums..." That link led to a blog that posted the "stuff" in question and showed us a discussion that might have otherwise escaped our notice.

Google will index no "stuff from another forum" on AFF as a result of Kim's post because Kim posted nothing "from another forum."

There's nothing pretty about any of it, and quite frankly, this forum is no different than the one illustrated in the shared blog, as far as similar dynamics go.

Too bad we have decided to measure one another by mustaches, tv, skirt length, sleeves, or a lack thereof, instead of by Biblical measures.

Galatians 5:22-26 "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, ...Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law....And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts...If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit...Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

Matthew 5:46-48 "For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? ...And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? ...Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."

I John 4:20-21
"If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? ...And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."

I don't say shame on KimberlyS; I say shame on all of us.
Exactly the point I was unsuccessfully trying to make.

Thanks for a great post, as usual.

Re: Interesting Article from a Conservative Aposto

1. This was posted on a blog on something we like to call the WORLD WIDE web. That makes it fodder for public consumption whether we like it or not.

2. Ron, your attitude really reeks on this thread. I cannot believe you would defend such nonsense. It makes me very angry that they would attack Scott in this manner. Scott is a man of integrity, and their words were cruel, cutting and downright vitriolic.

3. If the posters who wrote the junk about Sherri and Eddie really feel they are backslidden, why don't they pray for them instead of using their supposed backslidden state as a weapon against Scott. As if he is in any way responsible for the choices his siblings make?

Although I do recall getting into a lot of trouble and having a lot of posts deleted for posting material from the ex-pentecostals forum.
I sincerely hope that is not the justification if AFF has rules against posting things from closed Forums.

Actually, and I am just surmising here, I would dare say the majority of them never even heard the message.
