Well, when I asked Lynda about it, she said the last she'd heard was the surface blood clot thing and she does stay in close contact with her Mother and Sister...next time I'll just call Sandra.
I would suggest calling her now. you are close to the family so, in my opinion it would be a good thing.
we are all very skeptical about reports like this because of how much exageration abounds. So clairity is far better.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that anyone else is lying about what happened. I do think it's possible that people thought she had died when she hadn't, however.
And I think (considering I know these people) that it is possible that she was dead and God raised her up....
As ReformedDave suggests, we cannot know for certain. I can only stand by the reports from my family and friends who were there.

If ministers and churches hadn't been practicing sloppy reporting and exaggeration for decades, then people wouldn't be so apt to question reports of miracles. We've undermined ourselves with dishonesty and embellishment. Sad.
I see the results of it in myself, when any "prophecy" goes forth--I immediately question it in my head. Why? Because false prophesies abound, and it's hard to tell the true from the false many times, or the sensationalists from the legitimate prophets.
This is the truth.
Maybe this is why Jesus said when He came back would He find any faith. (paraphased)
This is also why folks started turning a search light on all they have been taught, because some things just didn't add up to their studies.
Honestly, is ALWAYS the best answer!

As my sister said one time, "You have hit the proverbial nail on the bucket!"

It's interesting the Bible's use of miracles and the significance placed in them. They are littered throughout scripture and yet played down by it.
What do you mean by played down?

When we have people lie to us and/or say things that are at best half truths I think it's fair that we have the facts....especially since we attribute it to God. People throw the word 'miracle' around so easily today. Much of what are 'miracles' are simply the providence of God. God can and does heal....and sometimes He does use supernatural means.
RD, there lies the problem. We have had so many so called "preachers" tell lies, that when God REALLY does something, it's put through every extensive means of examination, and if it's not "proven" to people's satisfaction, and they are usually negative and looking for some way to "prove" every one else a liar, then it's not a "God Thang". I'm not slamming you, not saying that's what you are saying, but that's the spirit of most of the people who NEED PROOF!!!
Some people may lie, but NONA FREEMAN didn't lie. Neither did the people that were in service with her that.
Why don't we try to put a little faith and encouragement in the way God does things, and take away a little of the doubt and unbelief.
NOTE: I"M NOT SAYING THAT RD IS CALLING ANYONE A LIAR!!!!
