Perhaps I'll give Hostetler a call to join in this discussion ... and send you on your way with your extrabiblical teachings????

Keep bashing!!! You must be daddy coming to somes rescue.

Can you even tell me what this was originally about before you chimed in with you attacks.

Yes I am a little defensive because of attacks. But because of posters like you I am not so easily offended. I just ask them to prove what they say and leave it at that.

If the quote is found by me or anyone else I will apologize.

But you have gotten on this tangent.

Prove to me the Bible doesn't teach against women cutting their hair. This is what you brought up. So change my mind. With the word of God and not Alicea.

The Mormon's have historical books ... so do the JW's .... so do the Muslims .... all "proving" their points .... please post something substantive and objective and I'll gladly produce some of the best pudding you've ever tasted.

It's not there , Pastor ... take a long look at it without your rose colored glasses ... is that proof enough??? ... it calls for long hair ... not uncut hair .... simple ... isn't it???

The sad part is this thing was still in a good discussion mode and here you come with your spirit.

Kind of like the Mormans, JWs, Muslims, Catholics and etc....

You know Daniel I bet if we could have met in person we probably could be friends.

I still respect the others in the origination of this post. Sam and all of them.

I still say they could be right on the book and I could be wrong. But I am right on the Biblical paths of salvation, holiness, modesty, and separation.

Gotta go! Good to see Daniel.

You know if you really want to discuss the hair issue and prove your view, start another thread maybe where you and DA and others can PROVE what you believe with scripture

And I also saw Goss's comments as speaking more to being fashionable and not drab. Had nothing to do with the issue of modesty. Hard to believe he would advocate less than modest dress. Especially in that day when such dress was still "socially" unacceptable.
So if Goss approved the wearing of jewels by the women in the movement, at which juncture along the way did jewelry become forbidden?
