I just can’t…
It's a bunch of baloney. Some joker takes the title of Apostolic Pentecostal then makes a statement that's un Apostolic Pentecostal. Most of these so called revivals are just a bunch of mess. They blow in and blow out. No Word, No truths, no change, just a bunch of snot bubbles, and tears, without any Holy Ghost in sight.

As previously stated, I’m glad they’re not passing out demons like at some other revivals.

Tis the season… I hear there was some “hippie Jesus” being advertised during the Super Bowl. The tagline is something like, “he gets us.”

Speaking of dirty feet hippies, there is also a movie "based" about Pastor Chuck Smith and Lonnie Frisbee coming out February 24th.

I guess if after repeated prayer they were not healed, and their depression or anxiety was a great hinderance to them in life, medication might be in order.

My preference would be for God to simply heal. Obviously. I would want him to do this so that he gets all the glory and credit in every situation, and it seems to me that saying that God heals through doctors and medication does not seem to give him the same glory or credit as doing it directly would.

If God alone is supposed to heal all our issues if we have faith, I have never been around anyone with this kind of faith. The greatest men and women of God I know of have not healed everyone, and they themselves have needed the assistance of doctors.
In the case God doesn’t answer their repeated prayer of healing, do we then take it to the hands of the medical field? In Bro. Morgan’s message he talked about the medical field being ministers of the body (he may of said, flesh or physical body). So, when the answer of faith doesn’t arrive do we go to the medical field for the relief that an individual needs?

I would say so! Elder Mangun and herself were used to build quite a church in Alexandria. It’s awesome that to this day there is 24 hour prayer chains.

Did they start that church as Home Missions?

But if you look at yourself, and think, I'm screwed up and twisted, you might find yourself hopeful and effective, in that, you know you can be fixed (at least it's a more likely proposition).

In that, again, it is a lot easier to point to the individual than it is to point to the group.

But sometimes, just sometimes, it's the group that's the problem, and the individual is the one with his or her head on straight. If so, it's up to that individual to try and help the group, if he or she can be received.

The point I'm trying to make here is:

If at BOTT, the leaders are advising therapies and counseling and help outside of the Kingdom of God, it might be time to admit that such advice is a confession that they don't got the goods to effectively help people with their manifold problems.

But that's a hard pill to swallow. It's just easier to point at individuals, or even at one's self. Because if the church is screwed up and twisted, how hopeless and ineffective do you suppose you'll be in fixing it?
That is interesting.

When you use the word “goods” as describing their effectiveness to actively help those in need of certain mental ailments. Are you saying “spiritual” goods as in the Holy Ghost, or “goods” as in medical knowledge?

Yet somehow people seemed to handle life a bit more competently than we do in the 21st century...
So, its fair to say that a lot of the problems today exist because of weak minded individuals?

Re: Bott 2023

I just saw a clip where some guy preached “Holy Ghost baptism with evidence of speaking in tongues,” and then asked people to raise their hands if they have never had this experience.

The clip does not show what was said before.

People raised their hands and began to pray.

This took place somewhere outside of the university.

Thoughts!?

I have my own, but I want to hear from others.
