I learned that His written Word means what it says and it is very powerful. I wanted to go point by point and then show what He taught me in every situation, but I just don't want to look back anymore.

One scripture He gave me to stand on in a horrible church situation in Psalms - "He has showed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city"!

When He brings deliverance - He brings it!!!! I stand amazed at His power - His mercy and forgiveness - His still small voice that makes us strong!!!

I am honored and blessed that He chose to pull me out of the world and dwell in me.
In every horrible situation, God also came to me. However, there is a saying that says If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten. So, I think looking at a situation and figuring out what went wrong is wise. And then not doing it again. Not looking back is good to a degree, but to some extent, looking back and exploring prayerfully is a good thing too.

I think the color of life is like a recipe. If it tastes bad, you got to take something out and replace it with something else!! LOL!

I agree - exploring prayerfully. And I'm not speaking to you here, but I think largely many run when any type of trouble comes along, looking back later to see what went wrong. Sometimes we don't know. We can know it is always a trial of faith and patience. We can only be better for it, if we don't jump and run.

My mind is on a time when our daughter was causing us some trouble. A pastor we were under said, "Ya'll could move and start over somewhere else."

I told him, "We aren't going to move. Everyone that has seen her failures can also watch her victories." That has certainly taken place - the victories!

Unless God releases us from a situation, we need to see it through. We recently went through a situation that is over now, BUT my husband and I were talking about some things that came to light this past week that we were not aware of. The scripture came to me, "....seducers shall wax worse and worse..."

We will see men fail us on a larger degree and the more, as we see the day approaching. I know you will agree that we need His direction more than ever!
