A tithe by its very definition is 10%.

Of course Jesus did not destroy the Law. He fulfilled the Law and that same Law is written upon the heart. So many on here speak as though it was destroyed. THAT was the point! LOL!

Romans 10:4 KJV

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Re: Tithing…Is it a command?

Seems like some don't want anything to do with the Law.

Which in essence means they don't want anything to do with love:
(Gal 5:14 ESV) For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

But since the tithe these guys teach is not the tithe found anywhere in the Bible, it's all a moot point really.

Exactly, amazing how the game changes when they are presented with the fact they don't follow all the commandments on tithing. Then it becomes a principle as if he says obey my principles.

LOL!!!

Since some of you know so much about tithing please enlighten us on who taught Abraham to tithe?

When and where does the Bible say tithing ceased?

Who said tithing should cease?

Christ FULFILLED the Law on behalf of His elect. However, it still stands to condemn the wicked and unbelieving. The only way to escape eternal condemnation from the Law is to enter into Christ's elect body, the Church.

Should all OT instruction on tithing be followed?
