The unemployment rate is still lower than it has been in years and lower than the national average for decades.
In fact unemployment claims went down last month.
People are constantly trying to "talk down" the economy. The Dems whined about the lack of jobs when GWB was up for reelection in 04 and then when they did occur they whined that they were not good enough jobs. Apparently unless a job has someone making neurosurgeon money the Dems don't think it is a job.
No doubt the sub prime mortgage collapse has affected housing which affects jobs but so far the economy has been very resiliant.

WOW that was Rough Talk! i guess we no longer should allow Free speech, freedom of press, freedom to vote for whomever we choose without hell fire and Brimestones pelted at us. I've been called everything but a child of God tonight !
