I use the KJV for preaching and teaching but I enjoy using THE NKJV for study.
I use some others as well ,I like The ESV and The NASB too.
I also like the Amplified as well.

Speaking of the Amplified, which is beneficial in many ways, I found the Analytical Literal Translation (ALT) to be even better. It does the same thing the Amplified does, but is translated from the same text as the King James Version! The ALT amplifies the terms used in the scriptures like the Amplified does.
