Re: The 2012 Democratic National Convention

If Romney wins, it will be because of Newt's help. He's the bomb!

"Bin Laden is Dead" It is a childish sentence. If the U.S. Military had reported to any American president that we have a chance to kill Bin Laden, any president would have said, "Go, kill him." Period. End of story. For Barack Obama to claim unique credit for that is silly.

"GM is Alive" Look at the American auto industry. Was BMW in trouble? No. Was Honda in trouble? No. Was Mercedes in trouble? No. How come we should be thrilled that the President threw billions [of taxpayer's dollars] at the UAW's two companies that were in trouble? That the government bailed out the UAW at the expense of white-collar pensioners who lost their pensions and bondholders who lost their bonds, and we should think that was somehow 'special'?

"Obama/Biden" If words are what matters, then they are word masters and they all sound terrific. The problem is three numbers that are deeds: 8.3% unemployment, $3.79 a gallon gasoline, $16 trillion in debt. Those are deeds, and those deeds—all three—sink Obama.

You can add Ford to the above list. They never took a penny from Obama.

Yes, and we are and have always been Ford people.

Newt is always brilliant and is really the only person making the strong salient points. He doesn't mince words and I like that about him. Better than the plastic nominee the GOP picked for us.

I am excited about the prospect of our "plastic" nominee being President since he has vast business and executive experience and is not an Islam loving socialist.

I ordered my Romney-Ryan yard sign from the campaign site and look forward to getting it in and up. The neighbor across the street is an ignorant redneck liberal Democrat because her mother is and she believes all of the misinformation her mom gives her. Should be interesting. The funny thing is half the time the things she attributes to Romney or some other Republican are actually positions or things a Democrat has said or espouses.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Mexican descent. Is that minority enough? Even blacks get their own race. My people are downgraded to an ethnic group.
