It seems that there is a sort of determination that is missing from us now adays. We just don't take the horns of the alter, and hold on until there is an answer. We have no importunity to continue until we receive. We give up quickly and say, "it must not be his will".

I wonder how many in the bible would have received their healing from Jesus if they were not sure whether he would heal them or not?
There is one... who said..
Matt 8
2And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

3And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

He wondered if Jesus would...

We are too busy today and God should know He better do it in a hurry after all we are working for him. I can remember when someone was sick saints and preacher piled in the room and interceeded until. And saw many healings and miracles. I think we are to sophisticated today and WAIT on WHO????????????????????????????? I am busy Lord DO it and NOW while I do your work. "O what peace we often forfeit and O what needless pain we bear all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer."

Medicine and doctors are NEVER spoken of in a bad light in scripture.

My question is this...

Is this anti-medicine teaching akin to a false doctrine?

I posted this one other time but since this topic has come up i think it's worth mentioning again.

Bud Tingle doesn't believe in dentist or false teeth. at some point his gums got infected and he wouldn't go to the dentist so he pulled all of his teeth out HIMSELF !! WITH A PAIR OF PLYERS!!!!!!!!

I have yet to hear anyone outside of the church give God glory for someone dying because of not going to see a doctor. The only people this impresses are the people that believe this doctrine. It is NOT a good testimony or one that aids in winning the lost. "Uh yeah, come join our church and you too can die a premature death over not going to doctors." "Oh, you say you're pregnant? No problem. Just have your baby at home and trust God that you or it won't die in the process." It's just one more reason for people to think apostolics are extremists and out in left field.

I can say this because at one time I believed it was a sin to go see a doctor. "Trust God all the way-see a doctor and you aren't trusting God for your healing and committing a sin." HOGWASH!! HOGWASH!! HOGWASH!!

I'm angry right now because this is the fourth person I know that has died because of this teaching, two of which could have been saved by taking antibiotics. A lot of good you are to the Kingdom dead and buried in an early grave!
