Incorrect, but perhaps closer. They would be things that might appear to violate Scriptural principles. And believe me, the world sometimes knows those better than the churches.
"Appearing to violate Scriptural principles" = "look sinful to you".

Ha, what a trip. I keep getting this vision that
the avg secular Joe on the street is fine
in god's eyes, and it is the religious ones with the problem, lol.
This is meant to be taken in a certain context,
please don't over-read there.
Oh, those principles that the world sometimes knows better than the churches?
Let me see, yep. They have done research which shows in part that many Christians are Biblically illiterate. This is especially true when shown how much they know vs those who do not claim to be Christian. That is really a shame, but it goes to show that television, movies, and carnal entertainment and passions are antithetical to a mature Christian life.

Hmm. It may go to show that, I suppose. But, do you think it's a mere coincidence that the people who know the most about it are the ones that don't believe it?

No it probably means that they actually gave more time to it than those who claim to take it seriously. When most Christians spend a total of six minutes a day in prayer, and most pastors do not average half an hour, I am not surprised that the church world is filled with darkness and is giving way to every lie of the devil.
