You mean a wiccan choosing to decorate with a Christmas Tree, Mistletoe, or Holly? lol

Is there a difference?

All of us have had a certain level of hypocrisy. We can't claim it is actual real live paganism today but then fellowship them that do it. I tried to get an answer from fellow no xmass minister but don't think I ever did . I wonder what elder epley answer would be.

Re: Is Christmas “pagan”?

And then there is the mother of all pagan holidays. A day of vile evil and darkness. A day that determines destiny, setting the very wheels of fate into motion for the entire world....

GROUNDHOG'S DAY!

"Season's greetings... from your pagan Groundhog. I eat children! Sacrifice them to me!"

Parents are sacrificing their children to the pagan Groundhog!

Dainties are eaten in reverence to this creature:

Kids are taught to honor the beast and are given idols:

The wealthy and powerful adore this satanic creature:

Even the media has been taken over by this diabolical force, this is war!

And they speak FRENCH!

Notice the time on the clock above... it's becoming "6" O'clock. And the Bible reveals that "6" is a number just short of "7", which means divinity. "6" represents all that is fallen and Satanic. This means it's time to act!

And in the Hebrew the word "groundhog" means something evil... we just know it. Trust us.

Christians must unite against this vile deception...BEFORE it's too late. And if you want to do your part in seeing to it that the truth behind this deception is revealed to more and more people in the hopes that our nation will be saved... send your GENEROUS love offerings too....

LOL

Re: Is Christmas “pagan”?

If the sun worshippers back then can keep their pagan practices why can't a wiccan, buddhist, hinu etc... today do the same?

Would expect them that burnt incense to buddha to stop ot just change statue from the fat guy to one of Christ? Should be ok since honoring Christ, right?

Re: Is Christmas “pagan”?

Why not? Most of our liturgy and worship didn't come from the Bible so why would we demand that other cultures drop their traditions instead of simply transfer the acts of devotion to the proper deity?

Do you take Communion with a wafer and thimble of grape juice?

Frankly, some parents are just way too uptight. Trust me, those types will find something to complain about unless you do everything exactly the way they would. They are just control freaks.
Games are usually for an evening, however, this game would be played for years. Sorry I don't see that connection. "way uptight" or not we should be honest with our kids about the idea of Christmas rather than having an imaginary figure bring them gifts. My opinion of course.
