Of coarse Jack Coe didn't have the market on the effort. For the most part Pentecostals as well as all Christian fundamentalists did the same thing.

That's right...

All during the time I was growing up our church had an American flag on one side of the platform and a Christian flag on the opposite end. I guess it was just a patriotic thing to do. I still like the idea.

Just my personal opinion but I think that some people think that the two are synonymous.....so in my congregation I'm glad we don't have any flags.

In my congregation we are only missing the best flag of all. It's the flag of the Lone Star... This dear ol' State where Col. Travis, Jim Bouey and Davey Crocket are patron saints.
