And there is a whole lot of mockery, lack of class and wisdom posted on this forum, so I guess GP doesn't stand alone. He has a very rough background and it comes out in his personality as does Jeff Arnold's. Some of my past shows up in mine as well.

Rough background? "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature." My overseer was born into a powerful mafia family in NYC and didn't leave that lifestyle until his late 20's. Yet, he doesn't stand in the pulpit and do mafia talk on people. He is completely classy and outside of his obvious Italian heritage and NY accent, you would never know a thing. I don't care about his background, to mock, belittle, and make fun of a fellow minister, who's microphone he would never pick up, by the way, cannot be excused by his background.
Yes, a lot of stuff goes on, on this forum. But none of us are in the pulpit here, speaking to a dependent audience of followers while saying, "Thus saith the Lord." What is written on this forum and what is spoken in a spiritual enrichment setting can never be compared.

When will some learn to compartmentalize?

The amazing part of the story is that I saw that he wanted to say something to her several times, during the morning service, but he never did. I kept wondering what he was thinking.
He had no idea that the people who had hurt her the most happened to be visiting and in that service. So, whatever he said to her, she wouldn't have been able to overcome it with those people present.
He did finally address her in the evening service. The visitors were not there that night. It was God's timing - perfect timing. She is doing very well today because of that service. I give God all the glory!
I'm not taking up for some of the crass things he has said, because I don't like it myself, but God does use him.

Yep, and God used a donkey. Doesn't mean the donkey doesn't stink and poop in the middle of the sidewalk where people are walking.

Oh, they already know how, but they only use it when it benefits them.

The point is that we are all flawed in some way, striving. God still uses me despite my flaws and I am glad He doesn't give up on me because my past has affected me so much. I'm glad that when I make mistakes or say something stupid, he still loves and uses me in the Kingdom.
I remember, years ago, we had a petite, elderly woman in our church. She was so genteel and soft spoken. I was praying and said, "God, I can't be like her." He said to me, "I can use what I've got."
I heard Sister LaJoyce Martin, some time later, telling the same experience. She doubted her personality was worth anything, but God assured her that he could use her personality to His glory.
We aren't always going to agree with everyone's approach. We wouldn't have this forum if we did ( ).

I wasn't there ... could very well be he had a prophetic word for her in private ... but the theatrics we see of many preachers reading the mail ... as evidenced in this video is suspect and definitely worthy of discussion.
Praying through has been equated to being delivered in our circles for a long time ... and its frustrated many a believer.

Yes, but we work on those flaws, not flaunt them and use them as schtick.

Yes, but you are very forthright with your opinions and discussion here. I don't view you as a donkey.

Well, we don't really know his personal battles. And since I'm not God, I'll leave him where the Master wants him - on the Potter's Wheel.

Point being people need to be held accoutable in person would be more beneficial. Preachers/saints say and do things with little to none accountablitiy.
